My story starts in Yemen and continues on the streets of New York City, where I grew up. In a city where every block smells like something different, I learned that great food brings people together, no matter where they come from.
Years later, I came to Central Florida to train as a student pilot. Flying over Sanford and Lake Mary, I came to love this community. I also noticed something missing on the ground: a place where authentic, high-quality halal food meets the comfort food everyone already loves.
So I built it. Shawarma Burgers brings my roots and my love for great food under one roof. Marinated shawarma on toasted brioche, golden falafel next to crispy fries, Middle Eastern and Mediterranean flavors alongside American classics. Every ingredient is 100% halal.
